MEET YOUR COACHES
Welcome to our page! We’re so happy that you’ve taken time to check us out. We will admit, we must have re-read these bios a hundred times, and it’s been months since we began the construction of this site. It never feels “finished”, but we know it is because there is so much more to our stories than our bios and website...
For many this will be a “first impression”—but knowing this is just a small glimpse of us, it is our hope that you’ll have nothing but good vibes and want to get to know us more!
COACH JORDAN
IFBB Pro - Men's Physique
First off let me start by saying welcome to Renovation Fitness!! We are so excited that you have taken the time to explore our page.
I wanted to take this time to give you a small glimpse into who I am, and why I love what I do. Fitness has always been an idol of mine. From a very young age I was an Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Rambo fan. I loved muscles and working out (even as a skinny little dude) and as you can see not much has changed.
I grew up in a small town called Moses Lake where there was never much of anything going on. I didn’t have the most ideal upbringing, but was always take care of. A great family, little money, and a lot of love. Throughout my teenage years however I did make a lot of mistakes, also all the way into adulthood. All the while, training and fitness was in and out continuously. It wasn’t until 2012 that I finally got my life turned around. By the grace of god I was saved and started living for Jesus! Things were starting to make sense for once. I was full board on my fitness journey, and was absolutely hooked! God has put this industry in my life and on my heart for a purpose. Through many years of applied science, trial and error, and a lot of hard work I started to learn my body. I began helping others, and really enjoying the way it made my heart feel. It also opened my eyes to the possibilities for my future.
In 2015 I competed in my first men’s physique competition where I placed 5th out of 19 competitors, and I had found my new passion. I went on to win the Overall at the Washington State Open in 2017, and 1st at the 2018 NPC Emerald Cup. All the while working a full-time day job, and coaching clients on the side.
In April of 2017 I met my beautiful partner and girlfriend, Kimberly. Kim has been nothing but a blessing to me. She has opened my eyes to my true potential, and really made me realize I can do anything I set my mind too. I knew I loved coaching my clients, but never really thought about how far I could really take it. Kim and I soon realized how well we clicked, and how great we were as a team, aside from the relationship aspect. Her strengths were not mine, and mine were not hers. However together we were a force to be reckoned with. We soon realized this, and decided to sit down and write out a plan of action for our future. This has been the most exciting time of my life, and I can not wait to see what God has for our Future in this industry.

COACH KIMBERLY
NASM CPT, NPC Bikini Competitor
I grew up all over and like to say I’m from everywhere and nowhere! I’m a military brat that has found home here in the Washington State. With an older brother, I grew up very much a “tomboy” and believe my active competitive nature has a lot to do with that. Getting serious with volleyball in high school is what sparked my love for training and lifting weights. I had an amazing coach (HEY, Coach Hilgar!) that pushed me to my absolute limit and saw potential in me before I recognized it. I became captain of my vball team both my junior and senior year of high school and captain of my fast pitch team my senior year. I was definitely lucky to have a coach that believed in weight training - not only for strength/conditioning but also to prevent injury. All I gotta say is—Coach Hilgar, thanks for showing this girl the weight room! I’m forever grateful.
When it was time for me to go to college in 2006-2010 (University of Washington, Seattle- GO Huskies!), working full-time and being a student full-time, I was very absent from the gym. With the exception of playing in indoor vball leagues and staying out all day during the summers playing doubles grass, I didn’t do much lifting. I pretty much lived off black coffee and Red Bull.
In 2012, I decided to leave the corporate world and move overseas to take up a teaching opportunity. During this time, I took back to lifting regularly. Here I was in a different country with nothing but work and gym time! (Thank You Jesus!) It was then when I was offered my first job as a personal trainer and spent the next few years teaching English, training, and coaching.
In 2014 I was relocated to a new school and in search of a new gym home. I found a hole in the wall spot... INSERT—the world of bodybuilding. I completely fell in love with it and there was pretty much no going back at this point. Long story short, in 2014 I did my first bikini competition in South Korea, moved back to the US, got my NASM CPT, worked full time for 3 years at ‘the big gyms’, re-entered corporate America, and have been training and coaching ever since! Currently, I compete in NPC as a bikini competitor and have recently had the honor of winning the Overall placing at the Tanji Johnson Classic, WA State Open, and UBU Phoenix Europa shows.
I have been blessed to coach a wide variety of clients who have trusted me in their journeys throughout the years. Whether it was coaching for someone who simply wanted to be pushed, general weight loss, overcoming Type 2 Diabetes medication, senior clients with disabilities, a lifestyle change after bariatric surgery, moms trying to find balance in their lives-- we are ALL in the same boat regardless of our starting points. We are all trying to live healthier and better lifestyles. It IS possible no matter what your life circumstance. It is amazing to see the positive change people have made in their lives and a blessing to be a part of the journey.
Fast forward to the present—Jordan and I reside in Bothell, Washington with our 1.5-year-old son and 11-year-old Husky. I'm a partner, mother, counseling grad student, personal trainer out of Body Shop Fitness, and coach. By the grace of God and a lot of hard work—anything is possible!
Our goal as your coaches is to give you the tools to make this a long-term, sustainable, healthy lifestyle and NOT just a quick-fix diet. Jordan and I truly love the relationships that have been built over the years and would love to connect with you!
